As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
• Ìý ÌýPrimary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
• Ìý ÌýSpecialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.

Main duties of the job
The Learning Disability Service strives to provide forward thinking high quality services, working in partnership with other agencies. ÌýIn addition to working with children and adults with learning disabilities or autism, we work closely with their families, and we have a strong commitment to health promotion through service development and training initiatives. We are committed to helping our staff develop and you will be part of an enthusiastic and experienced team.
We are looking for an administrator with previous experience in the NHS, and the successful applicant will have proven administration and secretary skills. ÌýThe post holder is expected to know how to organise clinical appointments and clinics, can type clinic letters, and support the scanning and recording of client information. They will also be expected to process referrals into the service and ensure they are dealt with accordingly.
The post holder will be accountable to the operational / clinical leads, and will be providing administrative support within the integrated health team, to ensure effective and timely clinical outcomes are met.
It is expected you will have experience of using IT systems, and in using NHS health systems in managing data.

Essential criteria
- Office administration and/or secretarial qualifications at RSA Level 3 or Business Admin NVQ Level 3 or equivalent knowledge gained through experience or 5 x GCSE grades A-C to include English and Maths
- Competence with IT applications

- Can use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Is able to Design layout for documents

- Previous admin/secretarial experience.
