24 Hours per week (14:00-19:00 will include weekend shift)

An exciting opportunity has arisen within Dane Garth for the position of housekeeping Supervisor. This new role will support the Facilities Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of the Domestic team.

Your primary responsibility will be for the co-ordination of all patient and staff facilities within Dane Garth, ensuring a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

Main duties of the job

Within this role you will also be responsible for – 

•    To establish a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere and environment for patients, visitors and staff.
•    To assist in monitoring cleaning standards; ensuring bed areas are cleaned following the discharge of a patient, soap dispensers etc are replenished, hygiene standards of the kitchen area and maintain the general tidiness of the environment.
•    To undertake regular monitoring of current and outstanding estates issues
•    Ensure Stock levels on the ward are maintained
•    Assist with the serving of meals
•    To carry out audits to maintain a high level of cleanliness
•     Ensure shifts have adequate cover
•    Assist housekeepers with cleaning
