The post holder will support both the SW London ICB Renal Programme Manager and the SW London Sickle Cell Project Manager, as well as the wider teams, ensuring that their respective portfolios of projects and services are planned, managed, and delivered effectively. The role is split 50/50 between the two programmes, and the post holder will take a leading role in assisting with the successful delivery of projects and initiatives within both the Renal Programme and the Sickle Cell Improvement Services Pilot Programme, balancing the needs and priorities of both areas.
Key responsibilities will include coordinating activities, tracking progress, managing resources, and ensuring clear communication across both programmes, ultimately contributing to the achievement of their respective goals and objectives.
This role operates on a 50/50 working pattern, where your time will be split equally between the two services. You will be expected to work 2.5 days per week within the Renal Team and 2.5 days per week with Sickle Cell Improvement Team, with flexibility in how the days are arranged based on project requirements and team needs. This balance should support you to engage with both services while managing your workload effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities
The post holder will:
- Provide comprehensive project management support, including planning, monitoring, and reporting risk and issues, and coordinating project activities.Ìý
- Manage the Team’s business support function, including organising and facilitating meetings, preparing agendas, taking minutes, managing, and maintaining records.Ìý
- Liaise with appropriate functions within the Place team and across SWL ICB and TrustsÌý
- Contribute to performance improvement, taking a lead for identified areas where agreed.
- Provide coordination of and participate in relevant internal and external working groups and provide project advice, expertise and support where requested.
- Provide relevant and timely specialist advice and guidance on own portfolio of projects/function.
- Work with members of the Team to investigate the causes of any variance from target/plan and proactively contribute to the implementation of solutions.
- Management of a risk and issues tracking mechanism and its proactive resolution and escalation processes.
