Job overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and driven Physiotherapist to join our Hip Fracture Early Supported Discharge Team consisting of Orthopaedic Physiotherapists Occupational Therapists, Assistants and Nurses, providing rehabilitation to patients in their own homes.
This post offers a rewarding opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in service development and team leadership. You will have support to develop your skills in service review, recruitment, audit, and people management at the same time as delivering care to a complex clinical caseload and influencing service redesign.听
We are looking for an innovative individual who has exceptional communication and leadership skills. Successful candidates must have relevant clinical background, ability to integrate well into a multidisciplinary working environment, be a car driver and be able to participate in 7-day and twilight working.

Main duties of the job
To provide specialist assessment, treatment and advice to patients within your area of specialty, facilitating and maximising patient potential within the service boundaries

We operate from two main sites 鈥 KGH in Goodmayes and Queen鈥檚 Hospital in Romford. We have two busy emergency departments with more than 330,000 people visiting them last year. We鈥檙e campaigning to secure the 拢35m we need to and get rid of corridor care.
Our patients are benefitting from our in Ilford; an in Hornchurch; and Community Diagnostic Centres (CDC) at and at in Hornchurch.
These CDCs are open 12 hours a day, 7 days a week and are providing an extra 88,000 scans a year.听
The majority of our 8,000 staff 鈥 who come from 146 different countries - live in the three diverse London boroughs we serve and are from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups. Many can and more than 400 of them are on our Ofsted accredited . We鈥檙e proud to be a employer.

Education/ Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Degree/Diploma in Physiotherapy
- H.C.P.C. Registration as a Physiotherapist
Desirable criteria
- CSP Membership
- Evidence of completion of Trust statutory training
Skills/ Abilities
Essential criteria
- Evidence of ability to organise, prioritise and delegate
Desirable criteria
- Competent IT skills
Experience/ Knowledge
Essential criteria
- To have extensive clinical experience in the relevant field at a senior level
Desirable criteria
- To have extensive broad clinical experience
- Training of Physiotherapy students on placements
