Job overview
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Band 5 Occupational Therapy rotation in within the East area of the Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board. Rotations are every six months and include;
- Acute medical
- Rehabilitation
- CRT
- Stroke acute
- Stroke rehabilitation
- ESD stroke
- Orthopaedics
- Older persons mental health inpatient
- Older persons mental health community
- Adult inpatient mental health
- Community adult mental health
- Paediatrics
- Pulmonary Rehabilitation
- Home First
- Primary care Wrexham and Flintshire
Successful candidates will be supported by band 6 and band 7 occupational therapists within each team and join the band 5 peer supervision sessions.
We have recently launched our new career development framework (preceptorship) for band 5 staff to enhance learning opportunities and maximise Continuing Professional Development.
Main duties of the job
Successful applicants will be able to gain experience working across an ever growing and varied Occupational Therapy rotation, building a rich knowledge and skills base on which to practice.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.听
