Job overview

The post holder will work as part of a small team of Occupational Therapy staff providing clinical guidance to staff with regards to children with neuro-developmental difficulties, in particular those with sensory processing difficulties impacting on occupational needs. The post holder will also work closely with the wider neuro-developmental team providing Occupational Therapy input to diagnostic assessments and attending team meetings.听听



Main duties of the job

The post holder听 will follow听 professional codes of conduct and ethics carrying a varied specialist caseload in a specialist area of practice which will include patients with complex needs.Clinical activities can take place in a wide range of settings including hospital, clinic and community settings and patients own homes.
The post holder may be required to supervise, Occupational Therapists,听
Occupational Therapy support workers and OT students The post holder will support the learning and development of others including colleagues and peers. The post holder will contribute to service developments providing advice as a specialist within their department which can include attending meetings and participation in audit, service evaluation and researching evidence based practice.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
