Job overview

Following the development of the Rostering Team within Sandwell & West Birmingham Hospital NHS Trust. We have a new vacant role reporting to the eRostering Manager.

You will have opportunity to provide advice and support on job planning for medical staff across the Trust, and other staff groups as the Trust roles out wider job planning, with the overall aim of supporting the productivity of our medical/clinical workforce.

You will be supporting the maintenance and monitoring of e-job planning system including the training of staff.

Ensuring that departments have the ability to effectively plan and manage their time, aiding operational potential all while improving the Trust鈥檚 ability to protect their well-being.

Main duties of the job

This position is a focal point of contact within the Team, working with all levels of staff across the Trust. We are seeking candidates who have knowledge and understanding if e-job planning for medical staff and associated terms and conditions.

Ensure all consultant /SAS job plans are up to date and are updated at source by supporting the annualised job planning process.

Upload job plans to the eJobPlan system and query any discrepancies with the Service Directors

Maintain the eJob Plan and other medical workforce systems (i.e Optima for Medics), ensuring that the data is managed in a timely manner and synchronised with ESR, interrogating the ESR system and liaising with the line managers as appropriate.

It is essential that you are able to work as part of a team or work on your initiative.

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of delivering against internal / external SLAs
  • Experience of using Allocate HealthRoster
  • Experience of working in a customer service / helpdesk environment
  • Experience in delivering training online or face to face.
Desirable criteria
  • Experience of database creating management
  • Experience of KPI reporting 鈥 Benefits Realisation reporting

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Allocate academy /Educated to HR / business / systems degree level or equivalent academic standard, or equivalent experience
  • ECDL or Microsoft Office Specialist qualification, or equivalent experience
Desirable criteria
  • Project management experience
  • Prince II foundation
