Come and join the new Emergency Medicine Receiving Unit (E.M.R.U.) ward team

The successful candidate will provide very high quality assessments in order to establish robust and swift rehabilitation and discharge plans for the patients within EMRU and may be asked to support REACT our frontÌý team.

Ìý TheÌý successful candidate will work very closely with the REACT team, Discharge Co-ordinators, Hospital Social Workers, Speech and Language Therapists and Dieticians.Ìý

This is a very friendly, supportive and dynamic trustÌý with regular integrated individual supervision and training, appraisal, CPD to support professional development.

Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd

• To undertake assessments of patients with complex and diverse presentations taking into account their social needs outside of hospital.
• To undertake advanced, comprehensive, and where applicable, standardised assessments in the clinical areas stated.
• To participate within simple and complex rehabilitation and contribute to its function.
• To use clinical reasoning skills and knowledge of evidence based practice to determine treatment plan using a wide range of treatment skills and options.
• To analyse and interpret clinical and non-clinical information to form an accurate plan for a wide range of conditions, with guidance from Therapists within the team and the MDT when appropriate.
