Job overview

Addenbrookes major trauma centre is looking for a part time Support Co-ordinator to work in our Major Trauma Network Co-ordination Service (NCS).  The service is a dynamic, friendly team of professionals who strive to ensure the best care for patients affected by major trauma. 

Main duties of the job

Based within the emergency department at Addenbrookes, you will work closely with the lead NCS consultant ensuring that clinical information from patient records for major trauma patients is extracted, interpreted and submitted in line with the requirements for national audit and benchmarking as well as local guidelines. The post holder will need to have flexible skills and be able to support the wider clinical and managerial team with administration tasks. Some working from home can be considered after initial training and proven competency has been demonstrated.
