Job overview
Applications are invited for the posts of Clinical Fellow (FHO2 /Core ST1-2 equivalent) in General Medicine (various specialties) at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
There are various rotational posts available which may include the following specialties: Diabetes & Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Renal, Oncology and Respiratory Medicine.
These posts are available from 02 April 2025 until 05 August 2025.
Main duties of the job
As well as providing you with experience of working in a ward environment within a specific specialty in Medicine, these posts will also offer you the opportunity to experience working as part of a busy medical take team based in the Emergency Department. A significant amount of senior support is available which greatly contributes to the educational value of these shifts, and enables completion of workplace-based assessments in Acute Care.聽
In order to be considered applicants must meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification and have:
鈥 聽 聽Completion of Foundation Competencies
鈥 聽 聽A minimum of basic medical training of 12 months
鈥 聽 聽A minimum 6 months of NHS service
Please note that these posts do not carry Postgraduate Dean鈥檚 approval or training recognition.
Full Registration and a Licence to Practice with the General Medical Council at point of application is required.
This post may be suitable for those wishing to undertake an 鈥淔3鈥 role.聽
