Job overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Housekeeper (Domestic Cleaner) to Join our Team at听 Century House, Long Eaton.听

You will be required to carry out a full cleaning service and although cleaning experience is desirable, this is not essential as full training will be given.

This vacancy is for 20 hours per week, working听 Monday to听 Friday, 08.30am to 12.30pm.

Housekeepers provide a high class cleaning service to all buildings within the Trust, creating a clean environment for all patients, visitors, and staff.

Key result areas (Main duties/responsibilities)

Cleaning Duties

1.听听听听 Damp mopping and buffing of all floor surfaces, including using machinery. Periodic maintenance as included in the cleaning schedules.

2.听听听听 Vacuum cleaning of all carpet areas, including use of machinery.

3.听听听听 Damp dusting all radiators, pipes and ledges.

4.听听听听 Cleaning of all furniture and fittings by the appropriate method.

5.听听听听 High dusting.

6.听听听听 Cleaning of partition glass and inside of windows where necessary.

7.听听听听 Cleaning of all sanitary fitments.

8.听听听听 Cleaning wall tiles.

9.听听听听 Replenishing disposable items, e.g. paper towels, soap, rubbish sacks etc.

10.听 Emptying of refuse bins and removing to place of disposal. Cleaning of all refuse holders.

11.听 Cleaning of lockers, beds and mattress when vacated by the patient

Ad Hoc Duties

12.听 Order and maintain cleaning supplies to required stock level.

13.听 Report defaults, breakage鈥檚, pest鈥檚 etc to relevant person.

14.听 To complete all relevant paperwork as requested by management

15.听 To open and secure buildings following procedures where required
