Job overview

We have an exciting opportunity to join our nursing team on the Paedaitric ED at Basildon Hospital.

This role is for a Band 6 Sister/ Charge Nurse to join our team. We are a busy ED and have a dedicated co-located PAU.

Main duties of the job

Duties will include caring for children and families in the acute A&E and paediatirc unit, provide support to the junior members of the team, coordinate beds across the service ensuring smooth flow.Ìý

  • You will be an experienced practitioner who can respond to conflicting demands.Ìý
  • Deputise for the band 7 ward managers and act in a calm professional manner at all times
  • Staff coordination across the paediatric service ensuring each area has safe levels.ÌýÌý
