We are looking for a proactive and organised Personal Assistant to support our Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) leads based at Edward Jenner Court. This is an exciting opportunity to join a vital part of our healthcare team, ensuring the efficient operation of IPC services, contributing to patient safety, and supporting the delivery of high-quality care. Main duties of the job
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý To provide a high quality, administrative and secretarial service to the IPC Team Lead(s) and team, (including wider and senior NTQ Directorate Management as requested).
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý To undertake responsibility for all of the day to day management of the administrative, clerical and secretarial functions associated with the team, setting the appropriate high standards and culture, ensuring the highest standard of security and confidentiality at all times, and ensuring that work is delivered on time and to the highest standard.
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Working and acting on own initiative and dealing with potentially complex situations and raising Infection Control issues through the appropriate channels.Ìý

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Ensuring that in the absence of the Lead ICN and other team members, all urgent and important matters are dealt with at the appropriate level.

·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý To communicate effectively with a wide range of healthcare professionals across the organisation. The role will require cross agency working including other healthcare trusts, ICB, Primary Care, Independent Health Care Providers, PHE and Service Level Agreement contracts.

Essential criteria
- Good general education with GCSE English Language or equivalent

- Ability to appropriately maintain social media – team Twitter account/Trust Facebook page
Experience
Essential criteria
- Previous experience entering data, maintaining audit data, compiling quality records for Team leads.
