Qualifications, knowledge and experience
Essential criteria
- 5 GCSE (or equivalent) passes, grades A – C, including English & Maths.
- Finance, IT or business administration qualification to level 4 (AAT Technician) or able to demonstrate an equivalent level of knowledge skills and experience.
- Intermediate Excel knowledge and experience including using pivot tables and MS access databases.
- Experience of producing performance management information or financial reports
- Experience in data manipulation, statistical, interpretive and analytical skills with complex datasets
- Experience of working in a finance environment.
- Experience in raising invoices using finance systems.
- Working to tight deadlines
Desirable criteria
- Experience of working in the NHS
- Advanced Excel skills
- Use of clinical patient systems
- Knowledge of medical insurance.
- Knowledge of private patient and overseas processes at UHS
