£105,504 - £139,882 Per annum/pro rata
Applicants will be required to provide a reference from their current CMO and Divisional Medical Director prior to interview.
We are recruiting for a Consultant Cardiologist with an Interest in Imaging who shares our ambition and vision to deliver theÌýBest of Care by the Best People and has the drive to take us forward, by ensuring that the Trust continues to be the first choice for patients and our staff.
Main duties of the job
This post has been created to support and expand our non-invasive cardiac department further. We are looking for an enthusiastic person who can lead this department to the next level of excellence and achieve BSE accreditation.

Person specification
Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Full GMC Registration
- MRCP (UK) or equivalent
- CCST/CCT in Cardiology (or will obtain within 6 months of interview date)
- BSE accreditation
Desirable criteria
- MD/PhD desirable
Experience
Essential criteria
- Full competence in echocardiography including stress echo, TOE is essential
Desirable criteria
- Additional subspecialty training in cardiac MRI/CT coronary angiogram is desirable
- Research experience is desirable
- Experience within NHS is desirable

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
