Since March 2024, we have transitioned to a nine-consultant rota to ensure compliance with CNST recommendations. Currently, the team comprises 8.0 WTE substantive consultants and one locum consultant. This substantive post is intended to replace the locum position. ��

The appointed consultant will join an established team of eight neonatologists at the Oliver Fisher Neonatal Unit, Medway Maritime Hospital. As a fully accredited tertiary neonatal referral centre, the unit is supported by a comprehensive multidisciplinary team and operates within the Kent, Surrey, and Sussex (KSS) Operational Delivery Network.
