Administrative opportunity has arisen in the Maidstone Admin Team

Calling all organised and motivated individuals!

Maidstone Mental Health Team have an exciting opportunity for a dynamic Administrator to join their friendly Mental Health Together/Plus team based at Albion Place in Maidstone.

About the Opportunity:

This role offers you the chance to be part of a supportive team providing crucial support to a dedicated clinical team. You'll work alongside Consultant Psychiatrists, Community Mental Health Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Psychologists and other healthcare professionals.

What You'll Do:

  • Be the friendly voice answering phones and responding to enquiries.
  • Manage the Team's schedule, efficiently booking appointments.
  • Prepare and meticulously maintain clinical records and correspondence.

Main duties of the job

The varied role of the Administrator will include:

  • Supporting the team to action work requests via the Mental Health Together/PlusÌý
  • Clinic Management, booking appointments.
  • Having contact with patients, carers, relatives, and other external stakeholders.
  • Typing letters and reports.
  • Using the patient record system RIO (training provided)

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSE English & Maths - Grade C or above
Desirable criteria
  • Microsoft Office packages

Experience

Essential criteria
  • At least 2 years administrative experience in a customer facing role
  • Experience of Microsoft Word and Excel
Desirable criteria
  • Working in a Mental Health / NHS environment

Skills and abilities

Essential criteria
  • Have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise your workload.
  • Strong customer service skills
