Job overview
We are looking to recruit 1 x Administration Apprentice to join our Acute Paediatrics Administrative Team. As a member of the Acute Paediatrics Department, the post holder will engage with and work alongside听Medical Secretaries and Speciality Co-ordinator, senior medical staff, nursing staff, and other health care professionals and partner organisations across the patient journey providing a range of administrative support functions.
Please note, The start date for this post is no earlier than April 2025
Main duties of the job
About the Role
The role is for a fixed term duration for a minimum of 15 months and involves providing support to the Medical Secretaries within Acute Paediatrics in a wide range of duties, whilst also enabling the Apprentice to study for a nationally recognised qualification, Intermediate Apprenticeship in either Customer Service Level 2 / Level 3 or Business Administration Level 3, dependent upon entry qualifications. This qualification will include work place assessments and also attendance at study skills sessions.听
What we're looking for
Applicants should have good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team, be able to prioritise and organise work in order to meet tight deadlines whilst being flexible and able to adapt to the changing needs of the service. It is essential to be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, together with accuracy and attention to detail whilst maintaining confidentiality at all times.
