Main duties of the job

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Midwife, who has a keen interest in all aspects of maternity care, to work as a Central Delivery Suite Labour Coordinator.听听

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Midwife/Coordinator to join our established, award-winning team of Midwives based at Scunthorpe General Hospital.

Ocupational Experience

Essential criteria
  • 鈥 Practicing Midwife with a minimum of 3 years鈥 experience at Band 6
  • 鈥 Previous significant Delivery Suite/ intrapartum care experience
Desirable criteria
  • 鈥 Experience at band 7
  • 鈥 Previous involvement in leading change to develop practice
  • 鈥 Complaints handling experience and/or training

Education and training

Essential criteria
  • Active UK NMC PIN in Midwifery
  • Evidence of post qualification study/training
  • SSSA or equivalent trained
Desirable criteria
  • Leadership/management qualification
  • NIPE Trained
