Applications are invited for the above posts which are available from April 2025 at King鈥檚 College Hospital. The posts will be for 12 months initially (renewable subject to mutual agreement).
Main duties of the job
The Clinical Fellow post is suitable for anyone looking to pursue a career in renal medicine. This job provides a rounded exposure to all aspects of Nephrology in a busy tertiary referral centre with the possibility of on call as well. The post is a good stepping stone to applying for ST3 posts in Nephrology due to the experience gained in this post.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
This post will involve clinical work at SpR/ST3+/registrar level in adult renal medicine. There are added clinical research and management opportunities depending upon the training needs of the successful candidates. Candidates should possess significant experience in renal medicine ideally at registrar level or equivalent. MRCP or equivalent is highly desirable.

Essential criteria
- Full Registration with GMC on date of taking up appointment.
- MRCP or equivalent
Desirable criteria
- Experience in performing renal biopsies and inserting dialysis catheters (non- tunnelled and tunnelled).
minimum of 4 months experience
Essential criteria
- Candidates should have a minimum of 4 months experience in Adult Renal Medicine at SHO/CT2 level.
Desirable criteria
- Experience at SpR/LAT/Registrar level in Adult Renal Medicine.

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
