Main duties of the job
Are you passionate about providing exceptional care to women and birthing people throughout their transformative journeys? We invite you to become a valued member of our dynamic team, where you can make a real difference in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care within our nurturing maternity unit or community settings.
Your Role:
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Holistic Care: Deliver comprehensive midwifery care tailored to individual needs during this pivotal time
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Autonomous Practice: Work independently within guidelines, showcasing your skills while prioritising safety and comfort
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Collaborative Relationships: Forge strong connections with our multidisciplinary team to ensure every woman receives effective and responsive care
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Lead with Purpose: Assess care needs and play a key role in developing and evaluating personalised care pathways
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Mentorship: Support unqualified staff and students, sharing your expertise to guide the next generation of professionals

Knowledge Training and Experience
Essential criteria
- Degree/Diploma in Midwifery
- Current NMC Registration
- Experience in midwifery practice
- Completed preceptorship
- Practice Assessor/supervisor
Desirable criteria
- NIPE Qualification
- Competent in clinical skills required within the role e.g. cannulation/perineal suturing
Skills and Abilities
Essential criteria
- IT Skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Team working skills

You must have appropriate UK professional registration.
