Band 2 –Ìý Switchboard Operator – Stepping Hill Hospital
Nightshift Hours / Flexible Hours
Ìý18 hours per weekÌý
One night shift per week 22.00 - 07.00 worked over a three week rota.
9 hours to be worked flexibly evenings / nights (further details will be discussed at interview)
The above hours are core hours , however the successful applicant will be required to work flexibly within the rota toÌý cover other shifts due to absence due to sickness or annual leave on the evening and night shift at short notice.Ìý ÌýWe are based at Stepping Hill Hospital, Stockport NHS Foundation Trust, the post holder will be required to work as part of a friendly team providing a full comprehensive service for the Trust covering all aspects of the Switch board. NHS and switchboard experience is desirable but not essential as full training will be given to the successful applicant.
Main duties of the job
We are looking for someone who promotes excellent customer service skills which will help support the smooth and efficient running of the switchboard which will enable good first impressions to our staff, patients and visitors to the hospital. Flexibility is required should other shifts need to be covered at short notice.
