An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced ophthalmic trained nurse to join our Macular service within St Paul's at the Royal Liverpool Hospital on a part-time basis.
The successful candidate will have experience within a hospital Ophthalmology unit and experience with Macular patients undergoing intravitreal injections.
Main duties of the job
The role will include general ophthalmic nursing care as well as assisting the specialist nurse practitioners and medical staff administering the treatment.ÌýÌý
The successful candidate must have recognised ophthalmic nursing qualifications or working towards such, excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be able to work on a variety of IT systems.

- Registered Nurse, current NMC registration
- Teaching and assessing qualification or equivalent
- Post registration qualification in speciality
