Essential criteria
  • FRCOphth., FRCS or equivalent
Desirable criteria
  • PhD, MD (research), BSc

Research

Essential criteria
  • Publications in subspecialty field within the last 3 years
Desirable criteria
  • Clinical or basic science research project idea or question

Attainments

Essential criteria
  • Completion of core training and further experience in Clinical and surgical skills commensurate with demands of the post Evidence of being a competent cataract surgeon
Desirable criteria
  • Possession of new skill not available in department, Experience in keratoconus management, Corneal surgery. Experience in corneal imaging including confocal microscopy

Disposition

  • Flexible attitude to work, team working, punctual and conscientious
