Job overview

We are looking for an individual to join the Pharmacy based Aseptic Services team. We have a highly regarded Aseptic Production Unit (APU) at the Trust andÌý moved into our brand new site in 2023. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of support activities to the aseptic production service.

Main duties of the job

To assist and provide support within the effective and efficient day to day operations of the aseptic service: -

• Parenteral Nutrition
• Chemotherapy
• Intravenous Additive Service

In accordance with departmental safe systems of work.

Carry out Environmental procedures, to include: -

• Daily readings in both set up and clean room.
• Weekly settle plates and swabs.
• Cleaning duties.

In a timely manner ensuring all documentation is fully completed, filed and stored correctly.

Ensure that the aseptic process is carried out in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures following the principles of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
