Job overview
To work as a Radiographer providing care for patients attending the general Radiology Department and to process images appropriately.
You will work without direct clinical supervision, but will report to the Senior/Superintendent Radiographers within the Department.
You will participate in the provision of an on-call / emergency / shift based radiographicÌýservice for the Health Board.
Main duties of the job
Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board Radiology services are provided on three main sites, Princess of Wales, Royal Glamorgan and Prince Charles Hospitals.
The departments support a number of sub-regional specialties. The departments have multislice CT, MRI, Cardiac Catheter Lab and Gamma Camera. Busy A&E Units are supported by modular PACS.
We are looking for a Band 5 Radiographer to join the team supporting imaging services across the Health Board specialising in general radiography.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong communication skills with an ability to work effectively within the multi-disciplinary team.
ÌýSuccessful Candidates will support out of hours’ services within the general department.
This post will be based on the Princess of Wales Hospital site.
The department is committed to providing training and development for all staff, with Radiographers providing a wide range of role extension.
