Job overview

Newark Hospital is seeking a highly organised individual to join our administrative team as a PPC Support. This full-time position is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a dedicated group that takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.

As a PPC Support at Newark Hospital, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical services. Your primary responsibility will be to support the SFHT Patient Pathway and the Patient Pathway Coordinators by managing clinic documentation, providing clinical typing services and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).ÌýYou will be an integral part of a team that values collaboration, continuous improvement, and high-quality patient care.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Computer literate with excellent keyboard skills
Desirable criteria
  • Medical Terminology
  • Working knowledge of PAS and the NHS in general

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • Good general education including English GCSE at grade C or above (or equivalent)
Desirable criteria
  • European Computer Driving License
  • RSA II or equivalent

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Experience of working within an office environment
Desirable criteria
  • Customer Care
  • NHS experience
