Job overview
The Senior Information Analyst will be embedded in the Renal service team to deliver information requirements in areas such as activity, performance, day to day operational information and statutory reporting.Ìý Activities will include interrogating and extracting data from the dedicated eMed system and others, interpreting customer requirements, generating reporting solutions, leading the development of integrated self-service solutions, providing insightful analysis and identifying areas of concern.Ìý You will also work with stakeholders within & outside of the trust to help implement any IT solutions, which may be required.Ìý
The service uses the eMed clinical and patient management system, Careflow Patient Administration System andÌý NerveCentre amongst other systems.Ìý In particular the team use both the front end of eMed and Careflow. Reporting uses traditional Excel based reports, Qliksense and R Studio.
Main duties of the job
You will maintain and develop a suite of reports to support management of waiting lists, performance and operational insight and liasing with third party system providers to resolve data quality and technical issues affecting eMed and other trust systems.Ìý
Establish effective communication channels between the Clinical team, the specialty leads and other Divisional colleagues to ensure that good practice is rapidly shared and that areas of concern are escalated so that appropriate action can be taken.Ìý
You will support theÌýRenal Heads of Service and Information & Insight Manager, interpret and present information, provide explanations where the information analysis is highly complex, give advice and feedback. You will have knowledge of local and national standards in relation to care performance and pathway management and act as an initial point of contact/expertise for queries and issues arising.
