Job overview

The Lymphoma and CLL team at NUH are looking for a new colleague to join their integrated forward thinking service.Ìý This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading centre at the forefront of research and clinical innovation in haemato-oncology. This is a replacement post with a revised job plan reflecting clinical service developments in lymphoma and CLL. The successful candidate should have a demonstrable clinical and research interest in lymphoma.

The Department is one of the largest centres for the treatment of haematological malignancies in the UK with a strong reputation for clinical trials and clinical research. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious and confident Consultant keen to further develop clinical, research and leadership skills in a dynamic inclusive team.

The successful candidate will join the Lymphoma and CLL teams alongside the four current substantive consultants, supported by two lymphoma fellows, four clinical nurse specialists, and a large clinical research team. An NHS-England accredited CAR-T program will begin in early 2023.

Training

Essential criteria
  • Full and specialist registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC) (or be eligible for registration within six months of interview) Applicants that are UK trained, must ALSO be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Substantial experience of managing patients with Lymphoma and evidence of commitment to this sub-speciality area
