The South East School of Physician Associates was established and is funded by NHSE to enable and support delivery of excellent healthcare by Physician Associates across the South East, through the education, training, development, employment, deployment, and retention of the profession. The SE PA School covers the breadth of the region, operating out of two hub sites [SASH NHS Trust, and RBH NHS Trust].Ìý
ÌýThe SE School of PAs (KSS) Manager is responsible for managing the KSS hub of the School, leading on the day to day running of the school and overseeing all reporting and deliverables related to the School. They will work under the direction of the PA Directors and Regional Clinical Directors, and work closely with the team in the other hub of the school, to support the transformation of the health care workforce in the South East.

Main duties of the job
ÌýThe Manager will act as a regional facilitator of PA-related workstreams, and will work across a range of initiatives in response to regional and national priorities. The Manager will ensure that nationally led PA-related initiatives or mandate priorities are incorporated into the SE PA School activity and identify the best method for delivery. The Manager is responsible for keeping the team organised to time, cost and delivery, contributing to the ongoing development of the south east School to support the transformation of healthcare across the region, working collaboratively to ensure the delivery of the agreed outcomes within the required timescales.Ìý The Manager is responsible for ensuring that robust processes are established to ensure the delivery of agreed workstreams for the south east.
ÌýThe postholder will be expected to work in a matrix-style, with NHSE regionally and nationally.
