We are looking for Specialist Audiologists / Clinical Scientists to join our friendly audiology department. We have roles within the Paediatric team and within the Adult team.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a service that provides audiology care for children and adults, and the role offers the chance to practice in a variety of aspects of specialist paediatric audiology or specialist adult audiology. We’re also happy to support applications for STP equivalence via the Academy of Healthcare Science.
The role is perfectly suited for candidates looking to develop their specialist knowledge and skills within Paediatric Audiology or Adult Audiology. It comes with a variety of responsibilities related to quality assurance, supervision and service development.
If you are keen to pursue the Paediatric Audiology role and have a particular interest in an area of Adult Audiology, we will endeavour to support you in maintaining clinical practice in your adult area of interest.

Main duties of the job

As a Specialist Audiologist / Clinical Scientist you’ll be developing and utilising specialist skills and knowledge within Paediatric Audiology or Adult care.  The post-holder will have demonstrable knowledge and experience within Paediatric audiology or Adult care, and be keen to develop this further, supported by clinical supervision and CPD activities.
The role will include clinical supervision responsibilities and will offer opportunities to develop and lead on innovative projects within the team. The successful candidate will also be supported to develop their leadership skills through further training and professional development.
To apply, you should have NHS experience and a BSc-level qualification (or equivalent) in Audiology. You must also have HCPC or RCCP registration to be considered for this role.

Adult role will require working at Rugby St Cross and University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire
