Job overview

We are looking for an outstanding colleague wishing to actively support the Paediatric Radiology department based primarily at the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital within the University Hospitals Sussex University Hospitals Trust. The post holder will contribute to the expanding MSK, oncology and paediatric neuroradiology workload; there is an opportunity for the successful candidate to undertake adult general sessions each week if desired.

The new clinical operating model has yet to define a strategy for paediatric radiology. The new post holder will form part of the senior clinical team to contribute towards a mission statement for the service and develop a five-year plan for service development.

This will include investing in training, developing / establishing local services, building on established paediatric networks and reviewing paediatric radiology provision across the integrated care subsystem.
