Job overview
The post holder will support to drive and deliver the portfolio of work for Transformation. The purpose of the role is to:
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý You will monitor and develop the Hospital 2.0 Vision, Principles and Strategy
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý You will support ongoing development of the Hospital 2.0 System Illustration
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý You will optimise the Hospital 2.0 System to deliver the programme objectivesÌýÌýÌý
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý You will identify & sponsor capability development necessary for the Hospital 2.0 System
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý You will learn, adapt, and develop new Hospital 2.0 Products
The post holder will support and deputise for the Transformation Director. The post holder will be responsible for problem-solving and driving the delivery of large scale, complex projects and programmes, leveraging expert skills and experience in change/transformation, continuous improvement and major programmes. A keen understanding of the NHS and other healthcare systems and delivering diverse programmes within the sector is an asset.
Main duties of the job
Key aspects of this role include:
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Drive the Hospital 2.0 System Strategy including continuing to align it with the overarching NHP Programme Strategy and other unknown programme adjustments
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Work with Programme Management Office to establish common Programme Benefits that Hospital 2.0 is delivering and continue to monitor
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Work with Programme Management Office to establish the baseline, methodology and ongoing validation of system impact against Programme benefits.
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Gather, collate and refine Programme NHP Requirements, in the context of the Hospital 2.0 System, align these to NHP Programme Benefits.
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Work with Technical Services Directorate to convert these NHP Requirements into deployable Products to sit on Hospital 2.0 Deployment Platform.
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Identify, scope and prioritise Hospital 2.0 Products that will support NHP Schemes in progressing through their SOC, OBC and FBC business case stages and through to construction and commissioning
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Map and manage interfaces between products to ensure system integration
·ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý Support the development/update of the delivery strategy to inform construction and commissioning solutions using Hospital 2.0 Products, Ìýalign delivery sequencing with Industrial Strategy to drive benefits realisationÌý

Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Professional qualification or equivalent experience of project and programme management techniques and tools such as Prince 2 or Managing Successful Projects
- Educated to Masters level or equivalent level or equivalent experience of working at a senior level in specialist area.
Knowledge
Essential criteria
- Experience in organisational leadership and delivering successful transformation programmes
- Experience of working at a senior level in a complex environment, managing multiple transformation projects with a range of stakeholders.
- Significant experience of managing and prioritising a large budget with solid knowledge of financial process requirements
- Proven Board level experience of leading and delivering complex change and strategy development programmes in a politically sensitive and complex environment
- Experience of strategy development
Skills
Essential criteria
- Highly developed interpersonal, advocacy and communication skills to be able to work effectively with individuals and a range of stakeholders
- Ability to identify and implement effective systems to monitor performance.
- Highly developed communication skills with the capability to analyse, review and make sense of highly complex, sensitive, or contentious information across a diverse range of subjects relevant to post portfolio.
- Evidence of planning and delivering programmes and projects and services on time. Demonstrable experience developing, managing, and motivating teams/individuals to ensure success.
- Demonstrable leadership, vision, strategic thinking and planning with highly developed political skills
