Job overview

Ward 10Ìý is a forward thinking 31 bedded Elderly Medical Ward caring for adults with complex medical and social needs.ÌýÌý


ÌýWe predominantly care for elderly, vulnerable adults where we can offer a safe, secure and dementia friendly environment. As a team, we believe that putting each patient at the heart of all our care, acting with integrity, respecting the individual and a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach for all our patients.

We are looking for a compassionate, enthusiastic , hard working and motivated staff Ìýwith excellent communication skills that wish to work with an amazing patient centred caring team.

Main duties of the job

Ward 10 is an elderly care ward with patients that have complex medical and social needs.Ìý We are looking for a caring and compassionate HCSW to join our friendly team who put their patients at the heart of everything they do.

You will be able toÌý undertake a range of clinical and clerical activities working with support and supervision of the trained nursing team.Ìý To deliver high standards of nursing care and be willing to share our knowledge and skills as well as following the Trusts values and behaviours at all times.Ìý

ÌýYou will be expected to work alongside our experienced nursing team as well as our ward doctors and other multi-disciplinary members who work alongside us in delivering safe effective care.Ìý

ÌýThe successful candidate should be a team player, have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and be able to work under pressure.

ÌýIn return, we offer to provide support and guidance from all our team and you will have training opportunities as required.
