Job overview

Providing first line technical fixes and logging customer requests received via telephone andemail. Providing advice and support to customers and co-ordinating requests on behalf ofcustomers with colleagues and external companies. Provide support to customers andInformatics Colleagues, performing service analysis and providing service statistics formanagement reporting, call management, asset management and covering the ServiceDesk

Main duties of the job

To carry out these tasks in a timely manner to ensure maximum availability and usability ofIT Systems.
The post holder works within organisational and professional policies and procedures suchas the Acceptable use of Informatics policy. Works on own initiative but will take advice fromtheir line manager if required.
