We are expanding our clinical senior team and are looking for an experienced, motivated and dynamic pharmacist to provide clinical expertise and leadership, to our medicine specialties. This will include Cardiology, Endocrinology, Respiratory, Gastroenterology and our award-winning Spinal unit. The post holder will work closely with our Lead pharmacist- Elderly care & Stroke to provide a high-quality patient-focused clinical pharmacy service to our Medicine division, developing pharmacy services and mentoring our pharmacists on their foundation pathway.
Main duties of the job
The pharmacist we are looking for will be a strong clinician, organised, hardworking and dedicated with great communication skills and a passion for developing services. You will need to have a Postgraduate Clinical Diploma (or equivalent experience) and ideally be a current non-medical prescriber or willing to work towards the qualification. The role will focus on providing a clinical pharmacy service to medical wards, continually improving the clinical pharmacy service within our Medicine division whilst also working to develop our foundation and trainee pharmacist workforce.
