The MMT team at Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust are highly regarded in the Trust. This role is almost entirely ward based with direct patient contact. Each team member only has 1x1hour checking slot in the dispensary each week. The rest of the time is spent in the clinical environment.

We work Monday to Friday 8.30am until 5pm, with no late night rota. We work 1 in 8 weekends with 1 Bank Holiday commitment per year. The weekend hours are: Saturday- 9.00am until 1pm and Sunday- 9.30am until 1pm, with a day off the following week. Many of the team work flexible/reduced hours to maintain a happy work-life balance.

Our ward work is in teams, on a rotational basis, alongside highly skilled pharmacists, always willing to share their valuable knowledge.

We encourage continual learning in the team, whether that's shadowing specialist nurses to gain clinical knowledge, attending training in the education centre, or completing additional qualifications like the clinical prioritisation course. Many team members are also mental health first aiders and armed forces champions.

We're a very supportive and friendly team who embrace new team members and support their organised inductions.
