Administrator - Perinatal Community MH Team

Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services for the populations we serve.
As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
• Ìý ÌýPrimary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
• Ìý ÌýSpecialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
• Ìý ÌýCommunity physical health and well-being services for children and adults.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. Salary: £24,071 - £25,674 pro rata
Hours: 37.5 hours Monday – Friday 9am- 5pm

Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust is a Specialist Mental Health Trust providing health services, substance misuse services, older adult mental health services and psychological therapies to residents of Blackpool, Blackburn, Lancaster, Morecambe, Hyndburn, Ribble Valley, Burnley, Chorley, South Ribble, Preston, the West Lancashire of Ormskirk and Skelmersdale and South Cumbria. ÌýThe Trust also supplies low and medium secure care and forensic services.
Applications are invited for a Band 3 Administrator to provide a comprehensive secretarial administration and information service across the Specialist Perinatal Mental Health Team, and coordinate their activities with other members of the administration team to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

The post holder will be aligned to the SPCMHT, covering the Central and West Lancs locality, but is required to work flexibly in response to the needs of the networks administrative service providing cover to other departments across the Service as directed by their Administration Line Manager to ensure continuity of service provision.
Evidence of good general education is essential together with good communication skills and excellent organisation ability. Knowledge of working with the NHS will be an advantage and computer skills with essential.
The successful candidate with require a mature, flexible approach and the ability to work within a busy team. They will be expected to use their own initiative and work unsupervised to ensure the effective coordination of duties.
