Our Vision is to provide the best mental health, learning disability, autism and community based services for the populations we serve.
As an integrated mental health, learning disability and community Trust, Lancashire and South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including:
• Ìý ÌýPrimary and secondary mental health care for children and adults including specialist inpatient child and adolescent mental health provision, perinatal mental health, forensic services including low and medium secure care.
• Ìý ÌýSpecialist community support for children and adults with learning disabilities and autism, including intensive support.
• Ìý ÌýCommunity physical health and well-being services for children and adults.
The Trust was first established in 2002 and employs approximately 7,000 staff who provide care from more than 400 sites. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary to join the All-Age Learning Disability Service in The Bay.Ìý
Prif ddyletswyddau'r swydd
The post holder will be based in Barrow. ÌýThey will facilitate the organisation of the consultant’s workload and their team and coordinate their activities with other medical secretaries to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

- RSA Typing/Word processing level 3 or equivalent.
- RSA level 2 Audio Typing Skills.
Knowledge

- Advanced communication and organisational skills.
- Competent clerical skills. Ability to use Microsoft Word. Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
- Ability to work in in a multi-disciplinary environment
Experience

- Previous secretarial experience.
