An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Secretary to join the All-Age Learning Disability Service in The Bay.Ìý

Main duties of the job

The post holder will be based in Barrow. ÌýThey will facilitate the organisation of the consultant’s workload and their team and coordinate their activities with other medical secretaries to ensure an efficient and confidential service is provided.

Education

Essential criteria
  • Good level of general education including Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent.
  • RSA Typing/Word processing level 3 or equivalent.
  • RSA level 2 Audio Typing Skills.

Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Advanced communication and organisational skills.
  • Competent clerical skills. Ability to use Microsoft Word. Excel, PowerPoint and Access.
  • Ability to work in in a multi-disciplinary environment

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Previous secretarial experience.
